Blue Hills was founded in 1957 by Clarence King and a group of friends. Clarence King was the pro until 1970, when he was killed in a plane crash. His sons, Billy and Johnny, took over in 1970 and currently are the golf professionals today.

Blue Hills built a new clubhouse in 1991 and has one of the most modern golf facilities in the area. Blue Hills has a pro shop with all of the top brand golf products, a restaurant with great food, and a golf school.

Blue Hills has approximately 300 members and is the most played semi-private golf course in the valley.
